This wallpaper deserves to be highlighted because of many reasons:
The fence looks so real and detailled that you can almost touch it. In many cases, wallers copy and paste similiar objects of the background (e.g. flowers). But this fence looks like it has been drawn stroke by stroke.
The colours and combination of highlights and shadows create a dark and mysterious atmosphere which suits the manga perfectly. I'm glad dolce-yasmin didn't stick to the original colours which wouldn't be as effective as the brown tone.
Not to forget the vector itself which is not only a huge improvement of the original scan, but also shows you dolce-yasmin's improvement of her vectoring skills!
Thanks for the lovely comment, my friend.
It's my very first Bleach wall, which made me watch the anime. And, I believe I'm caught.
It's addictive. Definitely yes.
BTW, I've left comments on your last two walls, looking forward to the next one!
You were right in thinking that those are supposed to be waterfalls. I was trying out a tutorial I had found. It was about the only decent one I could find. (._.);
Aahhh, seeing the scan makes more sense XD It does just blend in a lot. That one random chunk in the bottom middle is the Death Note lol! Well, Now I would suggest messing with contrast or darkening Light (lol) a bit. Try to make him blend with the background some more because he stands out in an odd way. And for the buildings i was just suggesting more stars behind them since in some spots they just stop. You know? The sky is full of stars but they dont go near the buildings (in some areas). Well, good luck, hope it goes well. Keep me updated if possible :)
Thanks for the comment on my Pi wall! I really appreciate it.
I'm kinda going for that digital abstract feel and kinda trying to make it feel like one is entering the interweb. Thank you for the tips and the brush links! <3
